🏃 Health and Strong Body
O: BMI decreased to a health level of 23 (weight dropped from 80kg to 70kg), blood uric acid levels back to normal (from over 600 to below 420)
- Feb
- My weight is to reduce from overweight to normal (BMI 26.2 -> 24.9, 80.3kg -> 76.3kg = 4kg). On February 9th, the first day back in Hangzhou after the Chinese New Year, I started working on this year’s most important weight loss goal. Over the past three weeks, every weekday, I have been eating healthy meals for lunch, avoiding the elevator, walking 6,000 steps daily, and closing the three rings: Move (330kcal), Exercise (30 minutes), and Stand (10 hours).
- March
- Lost 1.5kg (153 -> 150). My weight loss has started to hit a plateau, with my weight fluctuating between 148 and 152 jin over the past two weeks, possibly because I had to pause HIIT due to a gout flare-up during this time. My dietary control has also improved, and I’ve managed to make healthy meals more palatable, so they’re not as hard to eat. In April, I plan to strictly control my diet and increase exercise intensity, aiming to reduce my weight to 145 jin.
- Fatty liver condition (moderate-to-severe -> mild). Though over a month of exercise and dietary control this year, along with daily photo comparisons, I’ve noticed some positive changes in my body — my belly has gotten smaller, and several people have told me I look slimmer when they saw me. In my physical examination report, my fatty liver condition has improves from moderate-to-severe to mild.
- Uric acid (643 -> 545). In this month’s annual physical examination report, my uric acid level decreased by about 100. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve strictly controlled my diet, avoiding almost all high-purine foods. However, I still experienced a gout flare-up this month, which I suspect was triggered by high stress and intense HIIT exercise. In April, I plan to exercise moderately and maintain a positive mood.
- Vision degrees (200 -> 325). My eyesight has declined quite significantly, and this month, when I went to get a new pair of glasses, I found that my prescription had increased a lot. After putting on the new glasses, I feel like the world has become clearer and more vivid.

- After selling everything, I accurately avoided a 17% drop in Tesla. After buying in at the lowest point at that time, with an upward trend, I bought in multiple times, only to face another 16% drop. At the same time, the Nasdaq’s gains for this year have also been completely wiped out.
- For the Mixue Ice City IPO, I subscribed with different amounts through three accounts, but only one account got a subscription. The price increase was less than expected.

- Weekend trips to nearby cities aren’t suitable for someone like me. The original plan was to travel to nearby cities around Hangzhou every weekend. Last weekend, I booked a hotel in Ningbo, but I woke up late and suddenly felt very tired. I realized I had just finished a week of work, still needed to drive for two hours, and had to rush back the next day. Although the hotel couldn’t be refunded, I chose not to go.

- Both of my planned trips around Hangzhou failed. I originally planned to visit some nearby cities around Hangzhou that I hadn’t been to on weekends this year. This month, I booked trips to Ningbo and Quzhou, but on the days I was supposed to go, I felt too tired and gave up. I’ve realized I’m not suited for weekend trips, So I’ll use weekends from now on to rest properly.

🏠 The Happiest Life
O1: The Happiest Life. From Comfortable Life to Happiness Life, it is not only about material possessions but also necessitates substantial spiritual enrichment with family and friends.
- Feb
- Having shared values is the foundation of friendship while feeling comfortable with each other is the minimum requirement. Many classmates and relatives are people from two different worlds when viewed from the perspective of values, so there’s no need to maintain relationships deliberately. So, just let it be, I don’t care.
- Recording my changes and looking forward to each way new day. Whether it’s seeing my weight drop on the scale in the morning, listening to an audiobook on my commute, having new insights at work, enjoying my favorite music and TV shows, capturing every rise and fall in the stock market, meeting old friends, or making a call to my family — these are all sources of my happiness.
- March
- Self-consistency. In the past, I was always very polite and friendly to people outside my family, but I often showed impatience with my family members, frequently arguing over small things. I used to think this was due to two reasons: first, the influence of my family — my dad has a similar personality; second, the stress from work, which I brought into my personal life. However, this month, I realized the root cause: I has two different sets of expectations and standards for outsiders and family members. When outsiders made mistakes, it didn’t affect me much, and they bore the consequences themselves. But with family, I held very strict standards, feeling that even small mistakes were unacceptable, which often led to arguments. In reality, from a growth perspective, everyone should be responsible for their own actions, and improvement doesn’t come from lectures or arguments. Therefore, I should maintain consistent standards for both outsiders and family members to live a happier life.

- Take over the IoT security team and lab at Ant Group. I don’t have extensive knowledge of IoT security, but I have a very high level of interest. The IoT security lab has a wide variety of devices, including 3D printers, laser cutters, burn-in workstations, soldering stations, oscilloscopes, various attack tools, channel measurement research equipment, and more. These are the types of equipment that I was planning to purchase for myself anyway, so now they have become part of my job.
